From Grant Recipient to Trustee

Kaylin Majeran is a previous cycle Professional Development Grant recipient, and now she is an Education Foundation Trustee. Below is what Kaylin has shared as she reflects on her experience:

"I am incredibly grateful to the Education Foundation for selecting me as a 2024 Professional Development Grant recipient. The funds allowed me to continue my education through the Penn State Extension program, where I deepened my understanding of the science behind gardening. I was also able to purchase essential supplies to expand my ability to grow more starter plants and add several new raised beds to my garden.

While I’ve taken a brief pause from Seeds of Rosa to focus on motherhood, I’m excited to return to the garden this spring and even more excited to share that experience with my flora bell by my side."
