Black History Month is a time to celebrate the resilience, brilliance, and lasting contributions of Black leaders, innovators, and communities whose impact continues to shape our society. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing pursuit of equity and to recognize the vital role each of us plays in fostering inclusive spaces where everyone can thrive. This month invites us to move beyond reflection into action by listening, learning, supporting Black-owned businesses, amplifying diverse voices, and advocating for meaningful change. As we honor the past and present, may we remain committed to building a healthier, more just future for all.

4 WAYS TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

1. Employer Match programs for non-profits will multiply your donations.

  • Contact your employer to learn about their non-profit match programs.

  • Complete our Employer Match Information form.

  • Donate to the SLGEF.

  • Submit your donation receipt to your Employer Match Program.

  • We will receive a check or electronic payment directly from your employer. 

2. Donate to one of our quarterly campaigns or via our Everyday Giving Page. 

 

3. Host a fundraiser. Start by submitting an Event & Sales Request.

 

4. Connect your customer loyalty card to give to community rewards through Kroger, King        Soopers, Community Market, and affiliated grocery stores.

  • Search for Sigma Lambda Gamma Education Foundation either by name or XH032 and then click Enroll.
